Late Start

So, being in CSR 309, I have learned so far that leadership without precise and direction oriented organization is destined to fail. No one is going to follow an undeserving "leader". Leadership so far to me seems like a pretty simple deal, be virtous, honest, hardworking, compassionate, and then you can be a good leader. It seems like you have to be a good person to be a good leader so far. Maybe even Hitler was a "good person" to his "own" people. Maybe you have to be a good (fair also) person to everyone.

I really enjoyed the Pausch videos, he was very accomplished and moving, especially at the end. I almost forgot he was dying, he was so animated and full of life. The lecture was so long but by the 1st five minutes, it was so interesting that I didn't end up caring how long it was. I think a big part of being a good leader depends on your ability to captivate an audience. Who wants to listen to someone who can't hold anyone's attention for more than five minutes? Not me.
